Our Staff

The ORCS staff brings a passion for teaching to the classroom every day. They are dedicated to serving your children and working with you to make sure your student is learning and growing.

Erin Selvig

Erin started her career in Early Childhood in 1996 and has been with ORCS since 2010. She has a degree in Human Development – Early Childhood Education from Washington State University as well as a CDA (Child Development Associates Credential). Erin graduated from Eastside Catholic High School and currently lives in Woodinville with her husband and their two boys. In her spare time Erin enjoys the outdoors, walking, hiking, cooking, crafts and reading.

Tiffany Bayer

Tiffany started working for ORCS mid-2017. She lives in the neighborhood with her husband and two boys, both of whom went to preschool at ORCS. In her spare time, Tiffany enjoys reading, taking walks, and taking care of her pets.

LeeAnn Hart

LeeAnn joined ORCS as our bookkeeper in 2016. She lives in the neighborhood with her husband, and she has 3 grandchildren who have attended ORCS. She has bookkeeping experience from her other job at QFC and her condo association. LeeAnn enjoys playing games, doing puzzles, reading, and watching her grandson play sports.

Bonnie Schwindt

Bonnie has been with ORCS since 1997. She was raised in Woodinville, Washington and earned an A.A. degree from Edmonds Community College. She is married and has two children. She enjoys shopping, crafts, sewing and family activities.

Tami Duryee

Tami has been teaching since 1990 from ages 3 years to 6th grade. She and her husband JR live in Kirkland and have two sons, Hunter and Blayke and a daughter Schyler.  IN addition to classroom work, Tani has taught Sunday school, vacation bible school and was a Jr High leader for 10 years at Antioch Bible Church. Her family attends Churchome  in Kirkland. She has recently taught elementary PE but has been missing the classroom and felt a call to get back into it. She has a passion for hands on learning/ learning stations/building curriculum and MESSY. She is a diehard DENVER BRONCOS fan- she loves sports and has played coed softball with her husband for nearly 20 years. She has coached and refereed volleyball and basketball games. She loves warm weather and beaches as well as snow days and snowboarding. She’s very excited to have the opportunity to get back into the classroom this year.

Julie Marovich

Julie has been with ORCS since 1995. She was raised in Kirkland, Washington and graduated from Juanita High School and Bellevue Beauty School. She is married and has two children. She enjoys music, dancing, camping and family activities – especially with her twin sister!

Traci Jaeger

Traci began teaching at ORCS in 2017.  She has lived in Washington for most of her life.  She graduated with an AA degree from Everett Community College.  Traci is married and has two boys who both graduated from ORCS kindergarten.  She very much enjoys outdoor activities with her family, taking walks, baking and spending time with friends.

Sara Zeller

Sara was so happy to join ORCS in 2018. Sara and her husband have two children, both of whom attended ORCS. She has been teaching, coaching, and working with children most of her life. Sara has a B.A. in Humanities Education and has varied teaching experience – she has taught preschool, K-12 in various capacities, nannied, and tutored English & ESL at a collegiate level. Sara has been a children’s Art Docent since 2015 and loves volunteering in her children’s schools. She loves cooking, Art, creative writing and blogging, photography, being outdoors with her family, camping, hiking, and exploring new places!

Kari McGoorty

Kari is excited to be back in the classroom setting after spending the past five years individually tutoring students and volunteering in local schools. Prior to tutoring, Kari used her BA in Elementary Education (circa 1986) to teach children in various school districts, but primarily in the Lake Washington School District at Sandburg Elementary (20+years). In 2010, Kari joined the ORCS staff as the kindergarten teacher where she poured her heart and soul into her students until 2015. Outside of the classroom, Kari invests her time mentoring and encouraging new moms, dabbling with recipes in the kitchen, walking and hiking, and recently has taken up knitting. She loves hanging out with her favorite people in the world—her husband, three adult sons, and her daughter-in-law. Most of all, Kari loves growing in her walk with Jesus and sharing about Him with others.
